I'm Christina and I’m a designer and artist with a lifelong fascination with the magic of the natural world.
I’m a UX and Product Designer, Mixed Media Sculpture Artist, Installation Designer, Illustrator, Animator, Project Manager, and Design Educator. I have an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design at the New School in New York. My skills & experience give me the toolset to expertly adapt to any project or scenario. I enjoy complex problems and am always eager to learn new skills.
I enjoy working at the intersection of physical and digital experiences. As a manager, I’ve led cross-functional teams through complex projects and strongly believe in mentoring junior level team members along the way. As a UX and Product Designer, I use my experience in both digital and physical media to craft compelling design narratives that focus on the user and their needs. As an Educator, I teach with a focus on the design thinking process, encouraging students to work through each phase in order to create iteratively derived, thoughtful work.
In my personal artistic practice, I draw inspiration from my passion for the natural environment and all that inhabits it. My work explores the point at which our current understanding of the natural world blurs with the unknown, challenging the boundary between reality and fantasy. My work encourages the viewer to question their perception of the world, shifting everyday experiences to moments of curiosity, discovery, and appreciation for the magic of the natural world so often overlooked in our busy daily lives.
I spent almost a decade living, working, and showing my work in New York, but moved back to the Pacific Northwest where I spend my free time exploring the lush green forests and misty coastal beaches.
